POW - Parents of Westvale is the Parent Teacher Association of Westvale Park Primary Academy and Nursery and a Registered Charity (No. 1193876)

Founded in September 2020 when Westvale Park Primary Academy opened it’s doors the POW volunteers all meet regularly and have worked hard to build a strong foundation.

We have encouraged and welcomed more volunteers to join and help us in building a fun, rewarding and supportive PTA for the benefit of the pupils, staff, families and the local community.

Our main aim is to raise funds for the school so we can provide provisions usually outside of the school budget.

Opening a brand new school in a pandemic has given us challenges but we aim to ensure our events are as inclusive and varied as possible, and we love working with local businesses where we can.

We always welcome new volunteers and ideas and even if you can’t commit to regular meetings we would love to hear from you as we always need help throughout the year with events or even just collecting donations at the gates on non uniform days!
